cats

Sometimes I think it would be a lot quieter around here if we only had one cat. Now I love both of my cats very much, but when I wake up at 6:30 a.m. (before my alarms goes off) to them tumbling around up and down the stairs and occasionally screeching at each other and generally making a ruckus, I get irritated. Overall they get along very well, but Clio really knows how to push Ceasar's buttons and doesn't know when to stop. And they definitely seem to be the most at each other at night or in the early hours of the morning. Not cool. They basically have polar opposite personalities, so that's probably why they know how to irritate each other.:) Clio is pretty high strung/crazy and energetic while Ceasar is about as mellow and laid back as they come. For the record, Ceasar is about twice Clio's size. I don't know why Clio thinks she can take him on.:)

here's the crazy one (although here she looks quite calm:)

and here's my calm one:
And now you can see that they actually do get along sometimes. Nothing brings them together like the open screen door and a rogue chipmunk taunting them from the patio.:) I love these guys.:)

I love Ceasar's face. They are so adorable and I fully agree with the open screen having a huge effect on attention span. If Quincy is ever driving me nuts while I'm cooking in the kitchen, all I have to do is open the front screen door and he's occupied for hours. We don't have chipmunks, but the birds and squirrels are enough for him. It's hilarious to watch.

Reminds me of our two mutts. Remy is the smaller, crazy/insane one and Hobbes is the large mellow one. They definitely know how to push each others buttons!
